Room and Seat Reservations

Students

Students can reserve group study rooms or individual seats using LibCal 24 hours or less in advance for 2-hour blocks of time:

Available group study rooms and seats can also be reserved for 2-hour on a walk-up basis.

After selecting your preferred time and location, a box will appear at the bottom of the page allowing you to submit your reservation. You should receive a confirmation email.

Faculty & Staff

Faculty and staff can reserve meeting rooms more than 24 hours in advance and on a recurring basis using:

Once logged in, under the “Reservations” menu, use “Space Request” to book a meeting room.

Available meeting rooms can also be reserved for 2 hour periods on a walk-up basis using the black room reservation panels located outside each meeting room (select the “Reserve” function).

Group Study and Meeting Rooms

Scribner Library offers two types of rooms for study and collaboration. Group study rooms are smaller rooms located on floors 1 – 3 of the library and are primarily intended to be used by students for group or individual study. These rooms can only be booked up to 24 hours in advance. Meeting rooms are located on the 1st and 4th floors of the library and are intended for larger groups to collaborate. They can be booked more than 24 hours in advance by faculty and staff and within 24 hours by students, faculty, and staff.
