Cataloging
The Cataloging division of Bibliographic Services receives and catalogs all new materials acquired by the Scribner Library. These include print and electronic books, music scores, print journals, sound recordings, and DVDs. Metadata records are created and entered into the catalog to be searched and discovered by library users. Accuracy and thoroughness on our part improves the likelihood of patrons finding the information and the items they are seeking.
Cataloging is located in the Bibliographic Services Office, Room 203, on the second floor of the Scribner Library.
