Keenious – AI Research Tool Trial

The library is trialing a new AI Research Tool called Keenious. To try it on campus, visit https://keenious.com/chat. To access Keenious off-campus, you will need to create an account first.

Keenious primarily focuses on finding academic journal articles across disciplines allowing for the use of natural language in searches. It also has a focus on privacy, so searches are not saved and searches/responses are not used for training the model. It does not train on nor save any documents uploaded to it when working with the chat. Keenious has built-in guardrails to guide users to finding articles but can’t be used for writing papers. Its primary focus is on helping students find research articles and analyze them.

The trial will go until October 19th.
