A hundred years before Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a city bus, Elizabeth Jennings Graham refused to leave a New York City trolley. She then sued the railroad company and won! This display highlights the different library resources and research tactics that you could use to investigate the life and incredible story of Elizabeth Jennings Graham and other figures less-known to history.
